Nailbomb - Live at DYNAMO Fest (DVD)





Nailbomb foi um breve projeto paralelo entre o então vocalista e guitarrista Max Cavalera do Sepultura, e o guitarrista e vocalista Alex Newport do Fudge Tunnel. Juntamente com a dupla, o baterista Igor Cavalera e o guitarrista Andreas Kisser (ambos também do Sepultura), fizeram parte do Nailbomb em seu primeiro álbum de estúdio, Point Blank, lançado pela Roadrunner Records em 8 de março de 1994. Point Blank também contou com participações especiais dos guitarristas Dino Cazares do Fear Factory e Ritchie Bujnowski do Wicked Death.

Alice in Chains é uma banda norte-americana de rock formada em 1987 em Seattle, Washington, pelo vocalista Layne Staley e o guitarrista Jerry Cantrell. Apesar de vastamente associada ao grunge, o som da banda incorpora elementos do heavy metal, glam rock, hard rock e de música acústica, ao invés do punk. A banda alcançou fama internacional como parte do movimento grunge do início dos anos 90, ao lado de bandas como Nirvana, Soundgarden e Pearl Jam. É uma das bandas mais bem sucedidas comercialmente da década de 1990, tendo vendido aproximadamente 15 milhões de álbuns ao redor do mundo, além de ter dois álbuns na primeira posição da Billboard 200 (Jar of Flies e Alice in Chains), 11 singles nas dez primeiras posições na parada Mainstream Rock Tracks e seis indicações ao Prêmio Grammy.
Mesmo nunca oficialmente debandado, a banda foi contaminada por extensa inatividade devido aos problemas de Layne Staley com drogas, culminando em sua morte em 2002. O Alice in Chains se reuniu novamente em 2005 e em 2009 terminaram a gravação de seu primeiro álbum de estúdio em quatorze anos com o novo vocalista, William DuVall. O álbum, intitulado Black Gives Way to Blue, foi lançado em setembro de 2009 pela Virgin/EMI.

Brujeria é uma banda de Death Metal. Seu nome vem de uma palavra espanhola que significa "Bruxaria". Suas temáticas satânicas, narcóticas, e suas atitudes mascaradas têm sido seu passaporte para o sucesso, o que tem lhes rendido diversos shows pelos Estados Unidos e pela América Latina.
Suas canções, que são inteiramente cantadas em espanhol, são focadas no Satanismo, anti-Cristianismo, sexo, imigração, tráfico de drogas, política e também há algumas músicas sobre matança de caucasianos.
O Brujeria é assumidamente um projeto paralelo do membro fundador Asesino (Dino Cazares), e já contou com artistas como Billy Gould, Nicholas Barker, Raymond Herrera, Jeff Walker, e Shane Embury. Eles tocam sob pseudônimos, e assumem-se como uma banda latina, constituída por chefões da droga, razão pela qual esconderiam seus verdadeiros nomes (por serem procurados pelo FBI). O line up foi mudado diversas vezes, sendo um para cada fase da carreira.
Dino Cazares e Nicholas Barker deixaram o Brujeria em 26 de janeiro de 2004. Brujeria recentemente ressurgiu com dois novos membros e começará uma nova turnê em breve. A banda de Asesino continua muito forte, e o próprio Asesino descreve-a como "o novo Brujeria", e disse que Juan Brujo foi a razão de sua saída da banda.
Independentemente da inconvencional carreira, o Brujeria tem construído uma larga base de fãs do underground do Heavy Metal.

Asesino é uma banda criada pelo guitarrista do Brujeria, Asesino, que contém membros de bandas como Fear Factory e Static-X. Enquanto o Brujeria é mais lento, com influências de hardcore punk e metal extremo, o Asesino é mais rápido, com um som mais focado para o deathgrind. Não é inusitado a banda tocar covers do Slayer em seus shows. Assim com o Brujeria, as letras são inteiramente cantadas em espanhol com assuntos focados em violência, morte e pervesões em geral. A banda tem costume de fazer comentários sarcásticos em seus shows, e quando tocam alguma canção do Brujeria nos shows, eles alteram as letras para combinar mais com a banda.
